Mac 'n' Cheese

The mac 'n' cheese was a bit of a challenge simply because there were a few things that the directions ask you to do at the same time, making me feel a bit frazzled. I had to watch the noodles and make the sauce at the same time. The noodles were pretty easy because I have done that before. The sauce required some patience, but in the end it turned out really well. The cheese melted surprisingly fast once the sauce was ready for it to be added. I baked the mac 'n' cheese with bread crumbs on top. It was a bit hit, but there were too many noodles for the sauce, so it tasted a little lacking in the cheese department. there was deffinatly more mac than cheese. If I could make it again, I might have doubled the cheese part of the recipe. But everyone loved it anyways. It was part of our dinner tonight. It was partnered with salad and baked pork. yum yum.

Omelet

It is the next unit in foods class, eggs and dairy. It is a bit ironic that these two foods are grouped together because for the longest time I thought eggs were dairy. I dont any more, so do not worry.
The omelet was a bit of a no-brainer. It took about 5 minutes total. I just mixed up the eggs with milk then put them in the pan. Once the egg had cooked most of the way, I added cheese down the middle -- it was an Italian mix, that is what the package said. then I folded it into thirds and my sister and I ate it, and it was not half bad. I don't have much to say about the omelet because it was so easy to make. :)
